I want to attend a workshop, where do I sign up?
You can sign up for workshops on our Facebook page or through Eventbrite.
How much do classes cost?
In order to give as many ladies an opportunity to attend we keep all Level Up Ladies workshops at $10 per person. However, some classes may have material costs as well, which will always be noted in the event description.
Why charge anything then?
Our class size is limited and we need to make sure that the space is available to those truly interested, the fee helps guarantee that.
I can’t go now, can I get a refund?
Since our class size is limited we do not offer refunds. The instructors have planned to include you and your space has filled a potential spot for someone else who have been interested in attending.
What if I would like to teach a class?
We would LOVE to have you teach a class! Shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what you do, where you are located and how much you charge.
Wait, you mean the instructors don’t make the $10?
Actually, Level Up Ladies pays the instructor fee for the class out of pocket.
Well, where does Level Up Ladies money come from then?
Level Up Ladies accepts donations and sponsorships at any time in any denomination.
Can I write off my donation?
Unfortunately at this time we are not a registered non-profit, (but we hope to be one in the future) so your donation would not be eligible as a tax deduction.
I already teach a workshop about a skill, can you share my information?
We love to support others who offer workshops already and would love to discuss options with you. A few ways we have worked it in the past is 1- just sharing your workshop information with our followers or 2- having a Level Up Ladies day reserved just for Level Up Ladies. If you have another idea in mind shoot us an email and let us know!
How big are your classes?
We have a 10 person max for most classes.
Do I need to bring anything to class?
It is always nice to have a notebook and a pen but if there is anything else needed or special attire requirements it will be noted in the event description.
Is Level Up Ladies only in Arizona?
At this time we are only in Arizona, however if you are interested in having Level Up Ladies in your area please email us at email@example.com
Do you provide food and drinks?
To keep costs down we only provide light refreshments for most classes, however we allow everyone to BYOB and we can have a drink or two during or after the class depending on what type of class it is.
How safe is the class?
We only use professional instructors for our classes and we make sure that safety is our number one priority.
What ages can attend?
Most classes are for adults however teens can often attend as well with a parent or guardian.
Why is Level Up Ladies only for ladies?
We get this question a lot, and even though we want everyone to learn as many things as possible we noticed that women often have not been given the same opportunities to learn these skills as our male counterparts.
Well, what if my guy wants to learn one of these too?
We try and keep our classes intimidation free and there are some women who feel more comfortable learning in a class with fellow women. BUT…. We do plan on offering some special classes for the dudes in our lives on a quarterly basis.
Is Level Up Ladies associated with any political party or religious group?
Nope. We want every woman to feel welcome regardless of political affiliation, religion, sexual orientation, race, or ability.
Does Level Up Ladies ever give back to the community?
Yes! We love to give back and be an active part of the community. If you have a volunteer opportunity please reach out to us and let us know. We will decide when and where to volunteer based on availability, time and location, and if it is in line with our mission or helps us achieve a goal.
How come I haven’t heard of this before?
Level Up Ladies was just launched in January 2017!
